Herbosch-Kiere Marine Contractors Ltd successfully completed the extension of Pier E at Dover Harbour for Dover Harbour Board, enhancing the pier’s capacity to accommodate longer passenger ships.
The project included the installation of a large fendered monopile, a precast concrete deck supported by six steel piles, a connecting walkway, fenders, and a range of maritime fittings. Our team also carried out demolition work on sections of the existing pier to make way for the new construction.
All lifting and installation activities were carried out using our own floating plant, highlighting our expertise in managing complex marine projects while maintaining the highest standards of safety and precision.
